Posted by Today is Presidents’ Day so let’s take the time to remember the first African American president, Barack Obama. No need to do a long drawn out thing. Current (still in our hearts) president Obama was first elected in 2008 and again in 2012, it’s crazy how we haven’t had a president since.

Shirley Chisholm was the first African American major party candidate in 1972.✊🏾
