Posted by In an attempt to achieve exponential ‘wokeness’ I am currently reading “The Fire Next Time” so I decided to shine some light on 20th century literary genius, James Baldwin. Born August 1924 in Harlem New York, Baldwin grew up to be one of the greatest writers of the 20th century. His works often centered around the Black experience in America in relation to race, religion, and sexuality. If you’re still curating your 2020 book list, make sure to add the good brother Baldwin. You won’t be disappointed.
